About FayAnn

FayAnn Guilbeault obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Philosophy and Psychology from Nipissing University in 2000. She graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School at York University in 2003 and was called to the Bar in 2004. She now holds a Juris Doctor Degree from Osgoode Hall.

FayAnn grew up in the Niagara Area and moved back to the Region after receiving her law degree. She articled at Chown Cairns Lawyers LLP in St. Catharines until joining Martin Sheppard Fraser LLP as an associate and making partner in 2011. Leaving her partnership in 2015 FayAnn has opened her own law office practicing solely in the area of Family Law.

FayAnn is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Ontario Bar Association including the Family Law division of the OBA, the Welland County Law Association along with the Lincoln County Law Association. As of 2018 FayAnn has also become a member of the Ontario Deputy Judge’s Association. In 2018 FayAnn was appointed as Deputy Judge in Small Claims Court in the Superior Court of Justice, sitting in both Welland and St. Catharines Small Claims Court. Additionally, FayAnn was hired as a Dispute Resolution Officer in 2018 for the Family Courts in St. Catharines.

When she finds some time away from her practice, FayAnn enjoys involvement in the many community events the region has to offer. She is a proud member of the Zonta Club of Niagara Falls, a group of local professionals coming together to improve the lives of women here in the Peninsula, across Ontario and throughout the world. FayAnn is also a proud mother of one and enjoys reading, travelling and indulging her passion for the theatre at every opportunity.
